As a recipient of the Maguire State Missions Offering, The Grove Church plans to utilize funds in ways that help make the church visible and accessible to the community. “The funds will be incredibly helpful as we navigate the costs of printing materials for tents, booths and handouts at local markets and community events,” said JonSeth Sammons, pastor, The Grove Church.

Members of the Florida Baptist Convention’s State Board of Missions gathered virtually Feb. 6 to celebrate God’s work throughout Florida in 2024 and to look forward to His continuing movement throughout the Sunshine State in the future.

“In the Book of Acts, Jesus sends out the disciples in twos, so the biblical pattern of church planting is sending guys out in twos,” said Noah Clifton, church planter and pastor at Pillar Church of Crestview.  

“We want to meet people, so that we can meet needs, with the hope that they will meet Jesus,” said Church Planter Melo Sauvel, who launched One Family Church in Apopka this past January.

Thank you Florida Baptist pastors and churches for your incredible Kingdom ministry across Florida and to the nations!
