Health Care Ministries Conference

On May 18, 2024, a special group of Florida Baptists will meet together to fellowship and learn more about the day to day operations of free medical and dental clinics. The Florida Baptist Health Care Ministries Network has a total of 25 clinics which provide medical care, dental care, or a combination of both to the poor and needy. More recently, many of the clinics have grown to include mental health. These clinic directors and volunteers will come together to share helpful information with each other, as well as learn new ideas. Anyone interested in beginning a medical or dental clinic at their church or association is welcomed to attend as basics of healthcare ministry will be shared. Not only basics, but tips on sustaining your ministry as well. Session leaders will bring years of experience to this conference. This is a great time to network and build relationships in the realm of Christian healthcare. A highlight of the conference will be taking a tour of the Christian Care Center of First Baptist Church of Leesburg, including their Community Medical Care Center.
