Send Network Florida Partnership Expanded

The recent announcement of the partnership with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) for church planting in Florida is significant. The Send Network Florida agreement enables any church in the Florida Baptist Convention (FBC) regardless of location to receive support from FBC and NAMB in church planting efforts. This agreement essentially designates all of Florida as a Send City.

The process follows this pathway. A Florida Baptist Church has prayerfully and deliberately determined God’s will in planting a church and this Sending Church is led to a church planter. The church planter submits an application for NAMB church planter assessment. The Sending Church can receive guidance in this process through your Regional Catalyst of the Florida Baptist Convention. Our point of contact specific to Florida through NAMB is James Peoples, who will assist in moving the church planter through this assessment phase. The approval from NAMB of the church planter will begin a 50/50 support through the Florida Baptist Convention and NAMB to the Sending Church for the church plant. Depending upon need, this support will continue for up to four years,

The Maguire State Mission Offering of the Florida Baptist Convention will be 100% dedicated to funding of Send Network Florida. Every church in Florida can be a Supporting Church of church planting across the entire state of Florida. This partnership models the cooperative spirit of Florida Baptist churches in a unified effort to #ReachFlorida for Christ.

I urge you to pray and support this monumental movement of churches being #RightBesideYou in our ministry together in Florida.
