Florida Baptist churches continue to demonstrate incredible generosity in giving through the Cooperative Program (CP). We have completed 7 months of the 2019 CP budget year and I have exciting news to share. The CP budget requirement through 7 months is $17,500,000 and through the end of July our Florida Baptist churches have given $17,568,711. I rejoice in the eternal Kingdom impact that our unified giving will make on Florida and beyond. These funds are allocated at 51% advancing to the Southern Baptist Convention CP and 49% remaining in Florida for our ministry together across our state. It is a powerful testimony to the goodness and grace of the Lord for this level of faithful and trustworthy giving through the Cooperative Program. We are always better together, and this truth is clearly revealed through CP giving. Thank you Florida Baptist Churches!!!
The Maguire State Missions Offering (MSMO) material is currently available on our website at www.flbaptist.org/send. This offering is 100% dedicated to planting churches across the entire state of Florida. The goal for the MSMO in 2019 is $830,000. Our partnership in church planting surrounds the church plant and planter with resources and support from the Sending Church, Florida Baptist Convention, and the North American Mission Board. God is moving mightily in this new initiative as we are aware of at least 48 church planters actively in process in Send Network Florida. The level of support and care for the church planter will reach an entirely new level in this exciting opportunity. I encourage your church to participate in the week of prayer for Maguire State Missions Offering across Florida. We have testimonies from church planters from each Region of Florida for you to share. I pray that we will give to the Maguire State Missions Offering as this church planting movement continues across Florida. Thank you Florida Baptists for participating in the MSMO.
