MATTHEW 25:35 “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

God has blessed our Florida Baptist Convention churches by allowing us to serve in an ever-expanding mission field with endless ministry opportunities. God is bringing individuals from almost every nation to either visit or relocate their lives in our cities and neighborhoods.

The latest data informs us that Florida has over 500,000 individuals classified as immigrants, 150,000 individuals classified as migrants and over 14.5 million international travelers each year. Our goal as Florida Baptist churches is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many of these individuals as we possibly can.

One of the great ministry doors that opens for us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Immigrants/Internationals is through our Food Ministries. Limited financial resources can create some tough choices for how our “new neighbors” provide for their families. Listed below are some helpful resources for your church to utilize in sharing the love of Jesus Christ through food ministries.
