Immigrant Ministry

As the population of Florida adds over 330,000 residents each year coming from nearly every nation in the world, God has given Florida Baptists an opportunity—and mandate–to share the gospel message with their new neighbors.  

A clothing ministry provides an opportunity for the family of God to share with others in need. It is a statement of faith that says that God has graciously provided for us and we want to share these physical blessings with you and your family. 

Citizenship Ministry helps qualified ESL students prepare to become U.S. citizens.

According to the U.S. Department of Human Services website, “Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.”  The one exception involves minors and commercial sex. Inducing a minor into commercial sex is considered human trafficking regardless of the presence of force, fraud, or coercion. 

Many children and youth struggle with schoolwork. This can lead to low test scores, dropping out of school, family conflict, fear of failure, low self-esteem and the inability to understand what they read in the Bible. 

God has blessed our Florida Baptist Convention churches by allowing us to serve in an ever-expanding mission field with endless ministry opportunities. God is bringing individuals from almost every nation to either visit or relocate their lives in our cities and neighborhoods.
