Acts 2:41 Beach Baptism

In the past three years more than 2,500 new believers have been baptized in the waters along the state’s 663 miles of sandy beaches, 1,350 miles of coastline and countless miles of riverbanks to profess their new faith in Jesus Christ during Florida Baptists’ annual “Acts 2:41 Baptism Sunday.”

The commitment to intentional evangelism is at the heart of Florida Baptist churches. The Acts 2:41 Baptism emphasis in the month of May has been an exciting testimony of individuals professing their faith in Christ through the symbol of baptism.

Hundreds of new believers made public professions of their faith in Jesus this May 5th, Acts 2:41 Baptism weekend. From coast to coast, Florida Baptist Churches celebrated life transformation by baptizing new believers in beaches, lakes, ponds and even pools as a public testimony of new life in Jesus.

Hundreds have been baptized during this Acts 2:41 Beach Baptism emphasis and stories, photos and social media posts continue coming in.

Baptism stories are pouring in from all across our Sunshine state from churches who baptized new believers to faith in Christ on Acts 2:41 Baptism Sunday. For Acts 2:41 Baptism Sunday, these three campuses came together as one church at Sand Key Park to baptize and celebrate the new life of 86 people.
