Clayton Cloer, president of the Baptist University of Florida, addressed the 2024 annual gathering of Florida Baptists with a call for unity and holiness within the church in a message titled “The Mindset of a Holy People,” based on 1 Corinthians 3:16-17.

On August 14 the Baptist College of Florida will launch its Miami campus located in the Southeast Regional Center of the Florida Baptist Convention.

The Baptist College of Florida inaugurated Clayton Cloer as it seventh president in a ceremony April 25 on the school’s main campus in Graceville.

After more than 32 years serving as president of The Baptist College of Florida, where he “influenced multiple generations of pastors and church leaders,” Thomas A. Kinchen is retiring Dec. 31, 2022.

Alumni and students from The Baptist College of Florida gathered Nov. 14 during breakfast to honor Thomas Kinchen, who will retire after serving more than 30 years as college president, and to welcome president-elect Clayton Cloer.
