As Asian American pastors and churches in our State, we play a vital role in reaching our diverse ethnic communities with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The latest statistics say that there are almost 600,000 Asian Americans in Florida. This shows that the “harvest” is ripe and God is giving us the opportunity to reach them for the Lord.
Thus, last February, our Convention started the Asian Church Initiative. The goals are to pray and encourage one another, to discuss the challenges we face as pastors of Asian churches, to network and collaborate on how we can help each other, and how we can be part of accomplishing the objectives of our Convention’s Challenge 2025 that is to plant new churches, revitalize churches, baptize new believers, and engage in different mission opportunities.
As Asian American pastors, we need to know each other, get together, and work together mutually to become catalyst of change and inspiring movement to reach our Asian American communities with the gospel. We are in this together and we encourage you to be part of it.
