While several Southwest Florida churches are optimistic about their recent on-campus services, others in the region are making final preparations to launch their first in-person services since March.

Although the medium used to communicate this year’s Easter messages was in stark contrast to previous years, the Good News proclaimed by churches across southwest Florida remained the same – Jesus lives!

A decade ago, North River Church was planted by West Bradenton Baptist Church, as a beacon for Christ to reach the explosive growth of new families moving to one of the state’s fastest growing regions.

The number is staggering. Experts estimate that approximately 1,000 local Southern Baptist churches close their doors every year. But through church revitalization, there is a way to help these struggling churches survive.
