Last Sunday March 18th, Christ Fellowship in Miami launched its Homestead campus meeting at The Charter School at Waterstone.
Pastor Jorge Molina says that during this time he and his team have seen God at work.
“Christ Fellowship saw a need in Homestead when they ran the numbers and realized over 1000 people traveled from Homestead every Sunday to go to church”, said Molina. “We knew we had to start something near them, not only to be nearer but also to give them the opportunity to invite their neighbors and community friends”.
On launch day the church welcomed approximately 300 folks. Before the official launch the campus did three soft launches estimating about 800 people in total attendance.
“In the last few weeks we have seen 34 people come to Christ,” said Molina. Moreover, 25 new families have started attending the church in the last 3 weeks.
“People are connecting and feeling like this is their new campus.”
One lady from the community attended the launch service and was so overwhelmed by the love she wrote a letter to the team saying, among other things: “I felt so much joy and love almost instantly in my heart…Thank you from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me making me feel loved I’m looking forward to growing my relationship and walking the path that I know that God had planned for me”.
