Annie feels “very blessed” to have the opportunity to encourage college students.

Like many recent college graduates, Annie Pucciarelli isn’t sure what’s she’s going to do with the rest of her life. But while she waits for God to provide her next opportunity, Annie is serving the students at the University of South Florida through Baptist Collegiate Ministries.

While participating in a summer missions program that Next Gen Ministries Catalyst Billy Young encouraged her to pursue, Annie learned about BCM and soon began serving alongside Nathan Schneider, the BCM director for the Tampa area.

“Annie is one of the greatest servants I’ve been around,” Nathan said.

Annie’s passion for evangelism means she spends most of her time connecting with students, mentoring, encouraging and talking to them about Jesus.

“There is so much loneliness on campus,” Annie said. “Depression due to loneliness is the number one problem.”

“Every day is a mission field,” she said.

Nathan said Annie excels at seeing needs and making sure they are being taken care of, in the day-to-day operation of the BCM and in the lives of the students they serve.

“Every day is a mission field,” she said. “In class and all around there are so many people who need to hear the Gospel.”

“There are students coming from all across the country and the world and they are all looking to get connected to something,” Nathan said. “We want to get them connected to Jesus.”
