Who’s Your One

More than 300 pastors and laypeople gathered at First Sarasota Oct. 24-25 for the nationwide “Who’s Your One? Tour,” an effort to mobilize every believer to respond to the priority of evangelism with a renewed passion for soulwinning.

A church committed to embracing their West Pensacola neighborhood discovered anew how God is working in their midst during its focus on “Who’s Your One.”

Florida Baptist churches from Pensacola to Key West will participate in Crossover 2020 to advance “Who’s Your One” prior to the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in Orlando June 7–10.

The commitment to intentional evangelism is at the heart of Florida Baptist churches. The Acts 2:41 Baptism emphasis in the month of May has been an exciting testimony of individuals professing their faith in Christ through the symbol of baptism.

The Southwest Region of the Florida Baptist Convention (FBC) is one of the most diverse regions in all of Florida. It varies in ethnicities, religion, and financial makeup. These various factors bring many challenges to pastors and the churches that they serve. But, at the State Evangelism Conference that took place at Colonial Oaks Baptist Church on Monday, April 29th, they all had one common mission – to reach just “one”.

Florida Baptist churches continue to stir the waters of baptism with the powerful testimony of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is a time of rejoicing within the church when individuals profess their faith through the public symbol of baptism. It is exciting to hear the reports across Florida of changed lives in Christ!
