Victor Reyes

When pastor Victor Reyes traveled to Spain as part of a vision trip with the International Mission Board in September 2021, he went with an open heart and willing hands. Reyes, alongside his wife, Loyda, and other pastors and their wives, wanted to lead their churches to get involved with reaching the lost in difficult-to-reach places. 

Cuando el pastor Víctor Reyes viajó a España como parte de un viaje misionero con la Junta de Misiones Internacionales, en septiembre de 2021, fue con el corazón abierto y las manos dispuestas. Víctor, junto con su esposa, Loida, y otros pastores con sus esposas, querían animar a sus iglesias a involucrarse en alcanzar a los no creyentes en lugares de difícil acceso.

Mientras los bautistas del sur observaban  el primer domingo de misiones hispanas, tres pastores hispanos y sus esposas colaboraban en algunas misiones con la Junta de Misiones Internacionales en España.

As Southern Baptists were observing the first Hispanic Missions Sunday, three Hispanic pastors and their wives were on mission with the International Mission Board in Spain.

Following in the footsteps of New Testament encourager Barnabas, Victor Reyes is a source of encouragement and community to Jacksonville’s 20 Hispanic churches, many of which are led by bivocational pastors and embrace multiple nationalities within their congregations.
