Connecting with children and families during this time of a pandemic has proven to be challenging for Florida Baptist churches.  Yet, First Baptist Church of Lake Wales knows making this connection is vital to investing in this next generation. 

Although the medium used to communicate this year’s Easter messages was in stark contrast to previous years, the Good News proclaimed by churches across southwest Florida remained the same – Jesus lives!

With hearts prepared for Resurrection Day, 1,700 people came to celebrate the resurrection of the Risen Lord on Sunday at First Baptist Pensacola. Pastor Snyder said, “I do not want to produce a manufactured environment we then feel like we have to reproduce every week to get visitors back…I want Easter to be genuine and sustainable time of Worship.”

Jesus had risen from the dead. On this fact rests every other aspect of the Christian faith. If the resurrection of Jesus is real, it’s game-on for all things Christian. And if it isn’t, it’s game over because everything else we believe is a hoax.
