Challenge 2025

Florida Baptists will come together to sharpen, encourage and equip one another during the Challenge 2025 Gathering scheduled for Feb. 16 at First Baptist Church in Orlando.

Rather than a message of retreat, the State Board of Missions heard how the Florida Baptist Convention and its churches are moving forward, celebrating new opportunities to seize God’s blessings in the midst of a pandemic.

Tommy Green, executive director-treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention, toured the state earlier this year, driving home Challenge 2025 during engaging, local sessions.

Thank you Florida Baptists for your tremendous response to Challenge 2025. We must keep the focus on the main thing of reaching Florida and beyond for Christ.

Dr. Tommy Green, executive director-treasurer for the Florida Baptist Convention, shared a vision for the year 2025 at Florida Baptist Convention Annual meeting last November. Here are a few ways that kid, student and college ministries can be involved in this challenge.

Nearly 60 Haitian pastors and their wives were encouraged and challenged by Tommy Green, executive director treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention, as he presented the Challenge 2025 vision during a Jan. 16 meeting at the Southeast Regional Center in Hialeah.

The Tour de Florida stop in the southeast region of the state culminated with an evening of worship and a paella dinner as approximately 100 Hispanic pastors and their wives gathered to hear Tommy Green, executive director-treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention, cast the Challenge 2025 vision.
