The Florida Baptist Convention recognizes that the Property and Casualty insurance market for churches in Florida is in crisis. Costs are escalating, coverage options are shrinking, and carriers are exiting the market. This places a heavy burden on churches and diverts resources away from gospel mission.

To respond, the convention has partnered with IMA to launch the Florida Baptist Insurance Research Project. This research and data-gathering initiative is designed to evaluate alternative options for our cooperative network of churches. We partnered with IMA to collect data using secure digital tools and webinars in order to evaluate alternative risk financing solutions that could stabilize costs, improve coverage, and free more resources for ministry.
