This workshop that will equip leaders with the knowledge, tools, and best practices to create safer ministry environments and response more effectively when abuse occurs. This gathering will offer essential insights and practical guidance for: – Pastors and ministry leaders seeking to strengthen their church’s safety culture – Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) and Women’s Ministry Leaders dedicated to caring for and protecting women and families – Associational Mission Strategists (AMS) and associational leaders building accountability and support structures for churches – University and Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) leaders shaping campus ministries with integrity and safety.
Hosted by Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention and in partnership with the SBC Executive Committee and Georgia Baptists Mission Board.
As believers, we have a higher calling than the world to protect the vulnerable. As such, our commitment to abuse prevention should be fueled by our Christian worldview. We must take seriously the stewardship responsibility that we have been given over those in our care.
