Beau Bredow, minister of children and education at Scott Lake Baptist Church, recently completed his ninth trip to Bogota, Colombia where his church is partnering with Colombian church pastors in an area that has a history of being closed to the Gospel.

Bredow and others at Scott Lake Baptist have had a front row seat as they have partnered with Colombian pastor Abel Tovar and half a dozen other pastors as they travel around taking the good news of the Gospel to the people of Colombia. The group of pastors recently traveled north of Bogota to the city of Guaduas to plant that city’s first Baptist church.

On his most recent trip this past March, Bredow brought his friend and fellow New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) alum Joe Fontenot, a marketing strategist for NOBTS, who detailed some of the life change that is taking place in the mountains of South America. Check out his account here.

Would you pray for Abel Tovar and the others working to make the Gospel accessible to the people of Colombia?
