Volunteers needed for Crossover Indiana
April 25, 2008
INDIANAPOLIS (FBC)—As the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana gears up for the Crossover Indiana evangelism event June 7, they are calling on Florida Baptists, their missions partner, to lend a hand.
The event, held in conjunction with the annual Southern Baptist Convention meeting in Indianapolis in June 10-11, will feature at least 27 block parties and eight door-to-door surveys.
There are still 120 volunteers needed for Crossover Indiana and this ministry opportunity is open to churches and individuals.
The Convention is projecting more block party and door-to-door evangelism sites in downtown areas where they will plant several ethnic churches. While they have enlisted some partners already for these sites, they are still looking for more.
