It was an excellent day with a team of facilitators and servant leaders who shared and equipped Bible study groups to fulfill the Great Commission.

Grateful for Coral Park Church, its pastor and staff who hosted the event, the first of three to take place this month. There was great teamwork with Jose Concepcion from Lifeway Español and preschool, children and VBS trainers. Grateful for members from First Baptist Church Orlando Español who came to Miami to collaborate. Betzaida Vargas from the women’s ministry ‘Samaritan by the Well’ and Rev. Alejandro Colombo from ‘Walk through the Bible’ also served the more than 300 people who were in attendance. Rev. Eloy Rodríguez from Idelwild Español and Sammy Rodríguez from Calvary Church in Clearwater also served at the Summit. Ricky Bailey from Baptist Collegiate Ministries shared with many students about collegiate ministry. Praying and modeling for more of this statewide integration. Thankful for the Miami Baptist Association collaborating and promoting the event through Pastor Natanael Vicens and all the Miami and Broward pastors who taught and brought leaders to be equipped. Lemuel Tejeda and Iglesia Bautista Northside led the gathering in worship.

May God continue to prepare churches and bible study groups to fulfill the Great Commission. Al Fernandez gave the vision of Florida Baptists right beside churches and how the Cooperative Program reaches the world and comes back to churches in Florida as they fulfill the Great commission. Florida Hispanics (from all generations and nations) for Christ!
