Courtney Veasey is a PhD candidate in biblical interpretation at New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary. She is the former Director of Women’s Academic Programs & faculty member of
NOBTS. She is the founder & president of Brunch Ministries whose mission is to expand the room
by seeking to serve, encourage, feed, & love in Jesus’ name & for His glory.
Kaye Hurta has a Master’s Degree in counseling from Liberty University & is a crisis counselor for
Women’s Events through LifeWay Christian Resources & leads worship for YOU Lead events.
Whether speaking, singing, or listening, Kaye’s passion is to help others find intimacy with Christ &
soul transformation through the living pages of His Word. Kaye & her husband Chris have two
daughters through the miracle of adoption, Madison & Cami. They live in the Chicago burbs where
Chris is a pastor at Willow Creek Community Church & Kaye serves on staff in Pastoral Care & Grief Support.
