Disaster Relief Training Offered
Florida
Baptists are helping rebuild the homes of uninsured and underinsured
families who have fallen victim to last years storms.
Through the newly-created Disaster Rebuild Office, volunteers
can participate in projects that will transform storm-damaged
houses into safe, livable homes and provide long-term support
to hurricane victims who cannot physically make or financially
fund repairs.
Currently
work through Disaster Rebuild is divided into four regions.
Materials, room and board are provided for most projects.
To
learn more about rebuild projects or to become a registered
volunteer, contact the Disaster Rebuild Office at 941-371-8889
or e-mail disasterrebuild@flbaptist.org.
