Discipleship and Family helps churches make disciples. The disciple-making approach recommended by Discipleship and Family focuses on:
—Inviting people into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ;
—Developing them into the incredible persons God intends for them to be; and
—Sending them into the world to live their faith, share their faith and help shape the world for Jesus Christ.
Resources, conferences, and consultations are available to help churches make committed disciples. Discipleship and Family encourages a local church to use this three-pronged definition as a template for everything the church does. This disciple-making ministry includes new member orientation, leader development, doctrinal instruction, church history, and church polity. In addition, this area offers assistance with a number of other disciple-making ministries (listed below).
