AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHURCH DEVELOPMENT
AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHURCH DEVELOPMENT

This department seeks to provide a comprehensive program of Christian education and leadership training initiatives for the purpose of fostering growth in newly-established churches, and promoting the health and vitality of existing churches. While a primary focus exists to address the concerns relevant to the perspective of church development in the African-American context, the department collaborates with other divisions of the Florida Baptist Convention in order to address the cultural and diverse needs of our constituency. The four (4) major emphases which drive the mission of the department are to educate, to equip, to empower, and to engage churches in the execution of strategic impact for the kingdom of God and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
