Language Church Planting

The Language Church Planting Department assists churches and associations in starting congregations for persons who speak languages other than English. Each Sunday through the efforts of Florida Baptists, God's word is spoken in 21 languages, predominately Spanish, French Creole (Haitian), Korean and Portuguese. This is accomplished with Convention resources being provided directly to associations and churches to assist in the planting of new churches. Also provided are conferences to train pastors and lay leaders and developing language-specific resource materials for non-English speaking congregations.
